In response to the Windrush scandal and new immigration policy under the Trump administration, the Migration and Development Cluster facilitated a panel discussion entitled 'Examining state responses to the Caribbean migrant: reflections on migration policy and practice in the Caribbean and beyond.
The session took place at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies as one installation of its monthly Staff Seminar Series.
Panel members included Ms Myrtha Desulme, President of the Haiti-Jamaica Society, Asia Alman, Fellow Thomas J. Watson Foundation and Rochelle Nahkid, Coordinator of the Living Water Community.
